How it works:
The AFM is an important identification number and a serious request
When applying remotely, the Greek authorities must check the applicant's identity and the veracity of the application, and you must appoint a tax representative.
In Greece, only certain professions have the authority to certify your identity and the fact that you really need an AFM: lawyers, notaries and accountants.
In our case, it is our lawyer based in Greece who acts as your tax representative. He certifies that you are a real person and that you really do need an AFM.
This fiscal representation is therefore compulsory if you want to apply for an AFM remotely: it is included in the initial payment for a period of one month. You can find the pricing details here.
How does it work?

2 — Signature
You will have to sign a power of attorney at the nearest Greek consulate (or KEP office if you are in Greece) and send it back to us, by email
3 — Your AFM number is here!
Within 1-4 weeks, your AFM number is ready and we will send it to you, as well as your TaxisNet website access if requested
